Paula Nagel

Paula Nagel is the Premier’s International Education Adviser.
She was previously Chair of Education Adelaide, the peak industry organisation promoting South Australia as the nation’s premier education destination to international students. With a yearly turnover in excess of $800 million, international education is the state’s third largest export, and the largest earner in the services sector.
Paula’s previous roles include lecturing at Wattle Park Teachers College, the first South Australian female reporter on "Today Tonight", Marketing Manager of Foundation SA, and later a Senior Consultant with Morgan and Banks. In 1997 Paula established her own company, NBC Resources, a management consultancy that established a number of significant industry boards for the State Government and provided high level strategic advice on the appointment of members.
She herself is currently serving on a number of Boards including the Governor’s Leadership Foundation, the Academic Board of Le Cordon Bleu and the Tourism Minister’s Round Table.
