Laura Mabikafola is a highly experienced people manager, with proven expertise in people development and business growth.  With over 17 years in recruitment and human resources management, including 6.5 years with Morgan & Banks and more recently, over 8 years as General Manager of Talent2 in South Australia, Laura has built her reputation in business transformation, people development, identifying quality talent, workforce optimisation and understanding current/future market trends.

Her role as General Manager with Talent2 included strategic business planning, business expansion and building successful teams through people leadership and development.  Her overall focus throughout her career has been people and organisational growth, working with large businesses, through to SME’s and the individuals that enable their success, to achieve their overall business and professional objectives.  Laura’s expertise incorporates a proven track record of: business start-ups; turning around struggling teams; identifying creative solutions to people and market challenges; pre-empting changing workforce needs, and understanding people’s true drivers and motivations.

Laura was a finalist in the 2009 Telstra Business Women’s Awards and has served as a Director of the Board for the Recruitment & Consulting Services Association (RCSA) for Australia and New Zealand from 2009 to 2011.

Laura gained a Professional Diploma in Human Resource Management with Monash University and in recognition of her studies she was awarded 2006 Student of the Year for Australia and New Zealand by the RCSA.
