Neil Tuckwell
Neil has had full time work experience in a wide range of organisations, in Australia and overseas, over the past 40 years. During this period he has had many roles from technical specialist to Chairman and CEO and has been directly involved in six start-up businesses. He has also been Chairman of a publicly listed company, Chairman of a statutory authority, a non-executive director of a private company and an executive director of a private company. Industry experience as a full time executive includes telecommunications, government, and publishing & broadcasting. In mid 1997 Neil ceased being a full time executive and established his own business advisory service. Initially this was in telecommunications, but in 2004 he decided to direct his advisory services to SMEs, and to focus on mentoring, business planning and meeting facilitation. Neil has worked with managing director owners, management teams, and senior executives both in a group format and one-on-one. This work has been across a wide range of industries and for varying periods as determined by the client. Neil provides his services to the South Australian Young Entrepreneurs Scheme pro bono and is a volunteer reader with radio station 5RPH.
